Devi Pindi shrine is situated in Trikuta Hill’s on the other side of the famous holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. Also, it is believed that Mata Vaishno Devi meditates about 9 months in Devi Pindi and 3 months in Vaishno Devi Bhawan at Katra. My trip to Devi Pindi:-

Here I am sharing my journey to the Devi Pindi shrine from Jammu.

Before sharing my journey, I came to know about this trip through social media. So, I contacted them and book my slot for this trip. So we went to Devi Pindi from Jammu with a Group of 40 members which were very well managed by the organizers on Sunday.

At Panthal village

We started our journey at 9 am from Jammu and reached our base for starting point to Devi Pindi trek around 10:45 am. At the base, we had our refreshments and started our trek around 11:15 am which I felt was one of the best parts of this place.

The whole trek of 5 km to the temple starts from a narrow stream flowing throughout the trek route. Also, this route must be challenging sometimes because while walking we need to balance ourselves because one side is the stream flowing throughout the temple and the other side is the deep valley. But one thing is sure from this trek you will enjoy the best and peaceful nature.

Also while trekking we saw lots of natural waterfall with crystal clear water and pools where we took rest and felt relax in this beautiful environment. I suggest everyone here carry extra pair of clothes with you because once you saw crystal clear water you won’t able to control yourself to take bath in clear and chilled water coming from the mountains.

After trekking for about 2 hours at 1:15 pm we reached the top which felt like a totally blissful moment. At the top, there is one shop from where you can take a prasad offered to the goddess while seeking blessings. So we went further inside the temple complex where we took blessings from the “Pindi roop” of Vaishno Devi. Apart from this, I saw the diety of Shiv parivar, Radha Krishna.

After seeking blessings, we had our lunch and after that, we relax for around 1 hour near-natural pool where some took bath, some meditates, and a few click pictures like me and feeling the Vibes of this peaceful place. So after 1 hour around 3 pm, we started our trek towards our base, and at about 5 pm we all reached the base to Devi Pindi trek. We had our evening meal (Maggie), with chai which is the best food combination for every traveler traveling in the mountains. Around 6 pm we started our drive from Panthal village back to Jammu city and around 8 pm we reached back to Jammu city.
