By Road: Chenani is very well connected by road on the NH 44 which connects Jammu & Kashmir to the rest of the country passes through Chenani. From Jammu city Buses are easily available from Jammu bus stand which will approximately take about 3 to 4 hours to reach Chenani.
By Railway: To reach Chenani, Udhampur Railway Station is the nearest railway station and from Udhampur Chenani is 25 Kms away. You can reach to Chenani from Udhampur via Minibuses or Taxi which are easily available from Udhampur railway station.
By Air: Neither the Chenani nor Udhampur has the facility of the airport so to reach Chenani the nearest airport is Jammu Airport which is about 95 km away.

Sudhmahadev: Sudhmahadev temple is totally magical and awesome dedicated to Lord Shiva. At Sudhmahadev you will see the original shiva Trishul in the temple which attracts a lot of religious tourists from within and outside the state.


Mantalai: Mantalai is another famous Lord Shiva temple in Chenani where Goddess Parvati was born and got married to Lord Shiva. The temple is small and houses a beautiful idol of Goddess Parvati in the form of Kanya. A shiva lingam is also there in this temple which is worshipped by all. Also, there are idols of Nandi outside the temple. One rock which is considered divine and related to the wedding of Shiva and Parvati can also be seen in the temple.


Gaurikund: Gaurikund is Located at a distance of 10 km from Sudh Mahadev dedicated to Goddess Parvati. It is one of the most visited attractions of the region and must not be left unexplored. A temple of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati has also been constructed here.
